Belle, whose real name is Miriam Weeks, chose the porn name Belle after the lead character in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and the name Knox because she has a “fascination” with convicted killer Amanda Knox. “She’s just a really interesting person,” Belle told Piers Morgan in an interview. I’m not saying I support her or anything but she seems like a really cool person to just talk to. She seems very intelligent.”
3. Belle makes an average of $1,200 for every porn scene she shoots.
4. While Belle enjoys working as a porn star, she holds her university responsible for leading her down that path. ”If Duke had given me the proper financial resources, I wouldn’t have done porn. They have nobody to blame for the scandal but themselves,” Belle told Playboy SFW.

Belle considers herself a much-needed “feminist advocate” for the porn industry. “There are a lot of anti-porn feminists who try to speak out against exploitation in the industry, but we need somebody who can advocate for women while standing up for our right to sexual autonomy. Belle also appeared on Piers Morgan Live to say that she felt empowered by her choice to join the adult film industry.
“We are in a society where we are so repressed, every single day. We’re told that sex is bad,” Belle told Piers. “To be in porn and to be able to be naked and to be able to be free and have that sexual autonomy, it is so incredibly freeing.”
