We've already seen that Electro's appearance seems to have taken a cue from Batman & Robin's Mr. Freeze. But judging from this new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it seems he may also be just as subtly-written as Schwarzenegger's blue-skinned villain. This latest preview is the heaviest yet with Jamie Foxx's character, and it wastes no opportunity to let him broadcast his every motivation in joining the Spider-Man rogues gallery. Plus, if his cockeyed glasses and combover don't add quite enough child-like goofiness for your tastes, then just wait until you get to Electro's origin story. It somehow makes a radioactive spider bite seem scientifically sound.
