Joe Simpson: Jessica Is Too Busy Making Babies to Make Music

Long before baby Maxwell, long before “Newlyweds,” long before the Jessica Simpson apparel and accessory empire brought in billions of dollars…Jessica Simpson was churning out pop hits.
Does “I Wanna Love You Forever,” ring any bells? Because it was ONLY one of the greatest love anthems of the Y2K.

We honestly thought Jessica had moved on to other endeavors and put music behind her, a la Mandy Moore or Fergie. Fortunately for everyone, Jessica’s dad Joe Simpson tells CT9 that Jess WILL get back to the studio, just not right now.

“Well she is making babies right now,” Joe tells us with a laugh, “As soon as the babies are over I think [more music] will happen.”
Can. Not. Wait.

Though Papa Simpson admits Ashlee Simpson is definitely, “making more music.”
Actually the whole family is back in the studio. Joe managed both Jessica and Ashlee’s music careers and is now managing a new girl group, The Alectrix whose reality show of the same name will premiere on June 4^th at 11 PM on MTV.
