Well, what do we have here? Selena Gomez and Jaden Smith
skipping Mrs. Diaz’s sixth period English class to canoodle in the
ritzy Hakkasan restaurant. (Whatever you do, just don’t tell Principal
Hughes, because neither can afford detention this late in the semester
and so close to summer.)
The 20-year-old singer and
14-year-old rapper, which the algebra they learned in Mr. Jackson’s
intermediate math class tells us equates to a 6 year age difference, met
up in London last night, now making Selena the entertainment industry’s
youngest cougar.
Jaden is really good friends with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber,
but that breakup hasn’t added any tension to their relationship,
obviously. Maybe she was just looking for one of his boys' perspective
on the whole situation?
Of course, because we know so little about
the circumstances, we've been forced to guess. Besides the two stepping
out in all-black smocks, like they just graduated from high school, we
don’t really know anything else about their dinner, and from a celebrity
gossip website’s perspective this is just plain rude. How can Selena
and Jaden just send us off into the Memorial Day weekend without the
slightest of explanations to hold us over? Don't they have any manners
whatsoever for their elders? Kids these days!
