Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to Awkwardly Cross Paths Soon

Next week, there’s going to be more diverted eye contact at the Radio Disney Music Awards than a high school hallway.
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, the natural disaster formerly known as Hurricane Jelena, is brewing on the stormy horizon and set to strike soon, according to pop culture meteorologists.
Prom season officially kicks off with the two pop stars, both set to present at the awards show on April 27 at the Nokia Theater in L.A.
Selena, who is also this year’s favorite for Prom Queen so don’t forget to write in your vote before 7th period today, is also slated to perform her new single, the RiRi-rejected track “Come & Get It.” No word on whether she’ll offend the PTA for a third time by violating dress code and force the student council to issue an apology.
In Justin’s case, serving as a “presenter” could prove a loose and misleading term. The Radio Disney Music Awards are sandwiched between two European concert dates for Bieber; so chances are he’ll be “presenting” via satellite, pre-recorded video message, Skype, Snapchats, whatever it is teenagers use to talk behind Mr. Rubenstein’s back during World Lit these days.
If Justin does show up, though, will he dress up as if it were graduation or detention? Walk the carpet, but split before her high school talent show performance? Or nod his head along with casual swag? He'll probably just have his mom fake a sick note, so he can stay home and play video games.
It’s like when two high schoolers break up, but then still have homeroom together for the rest of the quarter. We can't wait to whisper about it in a secret Facebook group.
