Jennifer Lawrence No Show For 'Catching Fire' Trailer Debut

We have NOT been this excited for a movie trailer since forever. That’s a lie, we lost our minds over any Twilight trailer, but STILL, the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has debuted and IT IS EVERYTHING!
Jennifer Lawrence flexes her Oscar-winning acting skills in the second installment of The Hunger Games franchise. Liam Hemsworth has like two lines, looks hot, and kisses J. Law. Josh Hutcherson is all grow’d up with blonde hair. And the flick has added some acting veterans like Philip Seymour Hoffman and Donald Sutherland.
J. Law is all sorts of “gritty acting” and “eye squinting” and it is great.

The trailer premiered during last night’s telecast of the MTV Movie Awards. The entire award ceremony really just served as an expensive ad for Catching Fire and Jennifer was supposed to attend the ceremony to introduce the trailer as well as makeout with Bradley Cooper when they both won Best Kiss for Silver Linings Playbook. Basically, MTV spent all it's publicity energy on promoting Jen's appearance at the show and the premiere of the trailer.

Well, Jen apparently didn’t tell the show’s producers that she couldn’t make it until it was too late and they had to scramble to change the show around her non-attendance.

According to MTV, the crowd was “audibly upset” that Jen was too busy shooting a new David O. Russell film to make it to the budget award show. Hisss. Boooo.
