Kate Hudson pulls back the Hollywood curtain to reveal that things aren’t THAT shi-shi and glamorous behind the scenes.
Don’t get it twisted. Kate’s life is still 2,000 times more fab than you scrounging the 75 percent off sales rack at H&M, but at least you get to keep your purchases. Because Kate doesn’t. In fact, she doesn’t even buy most of the stuff she wears, if any of it.
“People think we own all these dresses but we borrow them!” Kate told Harper’s Bazaar. “I can’t afford to buy that stuff. There are certain things I splurge on, but it’s very rare, especially when you have two kids and school tuition.”
Uber-expensive designer goods aren’t really Kate’s speed anyway. “I’m not a big high-end fashion shopper. I wish I could but the truth is, things are just so expensive,” Kate continued. “Before Isabel Marant was a million dollars and famous, I used to go to her store in Paris and go crazy, it was so affordable.”
Basically if you pick up this recent issue with Kate on the cover, don’t be fooled.
