It’s the latest accusation in the Tom Cruise lawsuit against two tabloid publications that’s since involved his ex-wife Katie Holmes by name, not once, but twice.
Tom's team is accusing Katie of working directly with the media, specifically Life & Style and In Touch, to publish stories falsely depicting Tom as a questionable father.
TMZ got their hands on emails from Tom’s publicist Amanda Lundberg to his legal team claiming that Katie was “speaking to the press constantly. She is the one saying K[atie] is disciplinarian and T[om] is spoiling and so on.”
She even goes as far as to condemn Katie’s high-powered publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnick for orchestrating key parts of her campaign against Tom and his parenting.
In the emails, Amanda wrote, “leslee sloan [sic] calls the paparazzi every time K[atie] gets ready to leave the building as the doormen are always surprised how they suddenly show up when she is about to leave.”
Obviously with that assertion out there, it works against the supposed squeaky-clean image Katie’s worked so hard to create in the media, but we reached out to Leslie Sloane-Zelnick who told Hollyscoop that it’s a bold-faced lie.
“We do not call the paparazzi for any client,” Leslie told us, who also represents stars such as Zoe Saldana and Blake Lively. “I am offended as that is not the publicity we do.”
