The 2013 BET Awards air Sunday night. To celebrate one of the biggest
nights in black entertainment, we’ve compiled a list of some of the most
outrageous looks from BET Awards shows past.
The event is known
for some wild and daring fashions! The attendees love to show a lot of
skin; some have literally been one step away from a wardrobe
malfunction!
In 2003,
Da Brat stepped out on the
red carpet in a Sponge Bob-inspired sweatsuit complete with a matching
lunch box! But, we could have done without the exposed bra and the
genie-like hair.
Lil’ Kim (center) showed up
to the BET Awards that same year in this tropical er… get up. The rapper
has been known to leave little to the imagination. She should've worn
something more appropriate for a red carpet instead of a pool party.
Last year,
Porsha Coleman
donned nothing but a tutu and a bra. This look wouldn’t have even
worked for a Victoria’s Secret Fashion show. It looks like she forgot to
put on her blouse!
