Inside Emma Roberts and Boyfriend’s “Extreme” Relationship

Emma Roberts was arrested on domestic violence charges after breaking her boyfriend Evan Peter’s nose and allegedly biting him in a heated altercation in Montreal on July 7.
What started as an argument quickly turned into a physical assault, which Emma’s reps are calling “an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding” that the couple is, “working together to move past.”

While the rest of us were pretty surprised by Emma’s behavior, to those close to her, it was hardly news.

“Emma is very dramatic,” a source told Us, adding that she has a hot temper, inclined to easily get “wound up” during arguments. Concerning the violent incident on July 7, this was a time when it got “way out of control.”
“They’re a couple young kids…their romance is pretty extreme,” another source added of the “inseparable” couple, who’ve been dating since 2012. “They just behave in a way that’s very passionate.”
According to those who are close to the relationship, this is just how they are, apparently. “They will not break up,” the first source said. “When they are good, they are crazy in love.”
