Why Randy Jackson Quit 'American Idol'

After 12 long years, Randy Jackson has decided to quit “American Idol.”
Wait, hasn’t he already “quit” before?
Yeah dawg, last year a source said Randy was quitting the show and then a couple weeks later he was like, JUST KIDDING and he was back on the show.
This time, however, Randy (in his own words) just announced his resignation from “Idol.”
“Yo! Yo! Yo!” he begins, in true “dawg” form.
“To put all the speculation to rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season,” he says in a statement, “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a very life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.”
This is code for “I’m ditching y'all and going to ‘The Voice’ because people actually watch that show. JACKSON OUT!”
