Leonardo DiCaprio's Art Auction – Raises $35 Million For Charity

Besides being devastatingly handsome, talented and one of Hollywood’s leading and most notorious bachelors. Leonardo DiCaprio is also philanthropic and cares about art and charity.
We just swooned. We think we just swooned for the first time ever.
Leonardo DiCaprio helped raise $35 million to fund wildlife and environmental conservation projects as part of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.
So where did he come up with that much cash? Leo teamed up with Christie’s auction house in NY and auctioned off pricey art from artists like Ed Ruscha, Julian Schnabel and Banksy.

There was even a portrait of Leo up for auction, by artist Elizabeth Peyton which sold for $1.05 million.
Wonder how much the real deal costsl? Hahah just kidding, who said that?
Leo’s famous friends Bradley Cooper and Salma Hayek were also there, but Tobey Maguire was the only star to drop some serious cash.
Tobey went home with a $262,500 piece of art from Sergej Jensen.
