Miley Cyrus: Why I'm Still Wearing My Engagement Ring

Miley Cyrus has either called off her wedding to Liam Hemsworth or she is a modern-day Houdini, because the singer’s engagement ring pulls a disappearing act more frequently than a Las Vegas magic show.
In the June issue of Elle UK, Miley dishes on the missing piece of jewelry, insisting there’s more to it then what you read in the tabloids.
“We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight—into my life and my puppies and my house—and I just don’t feel they get that privilege anymore,” Miley explained to the magazine.
“Like on Twitter, I’m much more…not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff anymore.”

File “engagement rings” in the professionally labeled “personal stuff” folder that Miley consults before every online status update; the former Disney star isn’t breaking up with Liam, she’s breaking up with you, you, and all of you.
"We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed," she says. "But we keep our relationship low key and don't talk about it any more."
However, realizing that she herself is part of the oversaturation equation on social media doesn’t exactly stop Miley from overexposing herself in other ways.
“A star is someone who doesn’t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that’s not just showing your tits,” Miley added, right before lifting up her arms, arching her back, and pushing out her cleavage for the magazine’s cover.
