Lady Gaga Voted More Influential Than Barack Obama. WTF!

Every once in a while, the American people don’t know what they are talking about (ok, always).
Recently, TIME magazine took a poll and it’s been decided that Lady Gaga is the second most influential person of the last decade, making her more influential than Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, and J.K. Rowling.
The MOST influential person is Aung San Suu Kyi who is a Burmese opposition politician and chairperson of the National League for Democracy in Burma. So, she’s legit.
But really, you guys, how did Lady Gaga come in second place amongst all those more deserving names!
Here’s what we think happened. The “poll” was not determined by the intelligent minds at TIME magazine, but rather it was left open to “the public” and since Lady Gaga’s rabid collection of Little Monsters don’t do anything but refresh Lady Gaga’s Instagram and take selfies and send them to Gaga with inspirational quotes, they probably voted a hundred times…each.
Also, since Gaga hurt her hip and cancelled her tour dates, she’s been the opposite of relevant.

When was the last time Gaga did something that made headlines? Other than this post, of course.
Yeah, nothing. She got a wheelchair and has the same boyfriend and didn’t go on tour and we can’t think of anything else she’s done recently. How is that influential?
However, this poll is limited to people who have been honored as one of TIME magazine’s most influential people previously AND it’s the most influential person of the DECADE and NOT just this year.
So yeah, Gaga WAS pretty influential in the past 10 years because of her massive Twitter follower count, and gay rights stuff, and bullying legislation. SO YEAH GAGA WE GET IT! #ArtPop
That being said, Gaga…so irrelevant right now.
