Did John Mayer and Taylor Swift Hook Up Again?

A news story broke earlier today that Taylor Swift and John Mayer were cuddly after the Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this month and that Taylor reportedly wants him back badly!
An onlooker witnessed the two of them canoodling backstage. Yes, canoodling.
“They snuck off to a corner and were all over each other. At one point he had her hands on his knees, with him holding her waist, they were deep in conversation,” the eyewitness tells Grazia magazine.

Besides this very “Fifty Shades Of Grey” description of the events, it’s apparently a total lie.
A source very close to Mayer told Hollyscoop, “Him and Taylor may have said hello backstage at the MTV awards, but that is all. They are not in contact and this story is completely untrue."
Yeah, they said “hello” with her hands on his knees and him holding her waist. How do you say "hello?"

Since our source claims it’s absolutely NOT true, then the Grazia source must be some real perv, getting all into the physical description of an event that didn’t happen.
Last we checked, Taylor is one-hundo percent single. Not even dating Ed Sheeran.
