Ever since Kanye West, 36, took Pia Mia under his wing, Kim Kardashian, 33, has reportedly been jealous of how closely he’s mentoring the young star. On April 24, Pia took to Instagram to claim that the trailer for The Other Woman is the “story of [her] life.” Could Kim’s reported concerns over Pia’s and Kanye’s relationship be valid?

“Kanye is producing some tracks for her and he’s quite involved. He believes she could be the next Rihanna,” a source told RadarOnline in March 2014. That’s all fine and well, and while “Kanye has made it clear to everyone that their relationship is strictly creative,” Radar’s source continued, their relationship has some people in their circles raising questions“Kanye called her and the conversation sounded kind of flirty and romantic. It could be that they are just good friends but it was definitely more than just a professional call.”

However, their source added that “Kanye thinks [Pia is] young, fresh and hip — totally his target audience. He’s been consulting her on a lot of his creative projects, including the Kanye x APC collection.” It makes sense that he’d want someone young and fresh to consult, but Kim is reportedly jealous that he doesn’t ask her to consult.So, with all this gossip flying around, Pia must have known what she was doing when she posted the Instagram photo below with the caption “@TheOtherWomanMovie trailer…story of my life. How else would a movie called The Other Woman – where a married man is playing the women that he sleeps with against each other until they wise up and rebel — be the story of the life of a 17-year-old? Hmm. However, we personally think that Kimye are for life, so we strongly hope that all of the hearsay is just that!
