‘The Face’ Recap: Makeovers & A Nude Shoot Cause Tension

 

The modeltestants get brand new looks before stripping down — and the episode was just as revealing as the photo shoot! Did the right girl go home?

The second episode of The Face involved quite a bit of drama — which we all could have expected from the modeling show that includes Naomi Campbell! The second episode began with quite a kicker with everyone butting heads — and stunning supermodel Naomi was at it again with fellow judge, Anne V, over last week’s elimination. The entertainment certainly did not end there; following the heated debate between the two stunners, emotions continued to run high throughout the jam-packed episode.

‘The Face’ Recap — Season 2 Episode 2:

Things heated up for the modeltestants as soon as they stepped foot into world-renowned hairstylist, Frédéric Fekkai‘s, Soho based salon. Host Nigel Barker, immediately threw the contestants into a frenzy by explaining that they will be getting glamorous makeovers — for a nude photoshoot, nonetheless!
Contestants, such as Nakisha, (who was donning a wig without much knowledge to Judge Lydia), ended up rocking a sleek, short bob. While on the other hand Ray, who was barely safe the previous week, had her long blonde locks chopped off for a chestnut color, shoulder-length cut. Naomi’s reaction to Ray’s haircut was dramatic, (as expected!), and she stated multiple times, “One girl’s makeover is a disgrace!”

Before the sexy shoot even began, 18-year-old contestant, Afiya, took it upon herself to inform judge, Naomi, about fellow model Kira’s racial slur the previous night. She claimed that Russian beauty Kira stated, “Lets be honest, Frédéric Fekkai wants a caucasian and a girl without extensions. No offense.” — Ouch! Kira needs to watch what she says in the future, or else she will be the next model eliminated! That behavior will not be tolerated.
Meanwhile, the elimination challenge really showed off the model’s skills- – or lack thereof! Models, such as Tiana, (with her fresh, new Audrey Hepburn-inspirited pixie cut), rocked the nude shoot — and unfortunately a few girls had a difficult time being comfortable while posing naked.
Team Naomi ended up winning the challenge, and her four gorgeous models will be promoted on the Fekkai website — how exciting!
Sadly, one model had to pack her bags and go, and it was between two very strong faces. Ultimately, Nakisha from Team Lydia was eliminated in an extremely emotional departure!
