Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong’o Win for Best Supporting Rivalry

Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong’o Win for Best Supporting Rivalry
It was all smiles on the surface, but there was a serious conflict a-brewing behind-the-scenes between thespians Lupita Nyong'o and Jennifer Lawrence.

Lupita Nyong'o won the golden statue for Best Supporting Actress last night for her harrowing performance in 12 Years a Slave.

Look at her just winning. At the Oscars. At fashion. AT LIFE.

Everyone was rooting for her to sweep her category, including rival Jennifer Lawrence.

It was time for Lupita to shine and Jennifer knew it.

She even gave her a good luck hug.

Like, she wouldn’t let her go.

PAID OFF.

But backstage, J-Law showed her true colors.

She wanted that Oscar!

No, like, for real she did.

And there was no way Lupita was gonna let her snatch it from her grip.

Obviously they were joking. Hello, they’re both OSCAR-WINNING ACTEURS.

They were so convincing at this rivalry, we’re petitioning that there be a new Oscar category: Best Supporting Rivalry.

Congrats, ladies. Especially you, Lupita.
