'Vanity Fair' to Expose Gwyneth Paltrow Cheating Scandal

Who’s afraid of the big, bad Vanity Fair? Gwyneth Paltrow.
According to New York Post’s Page Six, the publication is trying to get dirt on the Gwyneth's…friendship…with Miami billionaire Jeffrey Soffer.
The same Jeff Soffer who dated supermodel Elle Macpherson in 2009 before breaking up in 2012, reconciling, and then blazing toward the altar; they’re now married.
\'Vanity Fair\' to Expose Gwyneth Paltrow Cheating ScandalOver the summer, it was reported (also by Page Six) that Gwyneth was ordering friends to embargo all Vanity Fair circles from their contacts and not speak with any of its reporters. Apparently they were working on a story she found to be highly unfavorable for some unknown reason.
“If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline,” she emailed her pals.
Just this week, VF’s editor Edward Graydon Carter said of the article, “We have a very good writer and it’ll run.”
In its report, The Post reveals that its writer on the Gwynnie beat is Vanessa Grigoriadis and she’s been quietly asking her Miami society sources about Gwyneth and Jeff’s relationship.
Vanity Fair is asking if Gwyneth had an affair with Jeff back in 2008 when he reopened Fontainebleau,” a source said. “He flew her in for the party and she stayed at his house.”
For a decade now, Gwyneth has been married to Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin; the couple have two children, Apple and Moses.
It could just be more celebrity gossip or it could be the truth, who knows? An odd coincidence amid all of this was Gwyneth’s interview with fashion blog Refinery 29 where she said she doesn’t think cheating is a guaranteed deal breaker and that you can forgive infidelity.
“I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can’t give an honest answer as I haven’t really experienced that,” she said in September.
