For months, rumors have circulated concerning Cory Monteith's tribute at the 2013 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
His "Glee" co-star Jane Lynch toasted the late actor in a sweet monologue about Cory’s life.
“All that warmth and that charm, that open-hearted warmness was not an act,” Jane started off the tribute.
“Tonight we remember Cory for all he was and all he could have been. This gifted and wonderful young man was worthy of your love,” stated Jane.
Jane mentioned the joy experienced by those who “witnessed firsthand, his goofy breezy sense of humor.”
The tribute only lasted a few moments, which may have come as a shock to “Glee” fans who might have been expecting something much bigger, especially considering the amount of press and rumors swirling about Cory’s Emmy tribute
