Why Kim Kardashian Missed Kanye West’s Birthday Party

Kanye West, commemorating 36 years of being on this Earth, was in NYC over the weekend to celebrate his birthday.

Friends like Jay-Z and Beyoncé were there to help him blow out the 37 candles (one for good luck), but someone was obviously missing from the festivities…Kim Kardashian.
The rapper’s baby mama couldn’t make it out east to wish him a “Happy Birthday” because at this final stage in her pregnancy she’s been grounded from flying. (Kanye couldn’t make it out west because he was performing at the Governors Ball Music Festival last night.)

Kim went all out for his birthday last year, buying him a $750,000 Lamborghini for his 35th, but this year, words are priceless.
The reality star tweeted, “Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!!! I love you beyond words!” Attached was an Instagram photo collage of pictures of the couple together and yes, Kanye is smiling in about 45% of them, so they must be happy.
Sources close to Kanye have revealed he warned her beforehand to keep her hands off the black AmEx this year and not to purchase anything lavish…he didn’t want Kim thinking about trying to do something grandiose for him on his birthday. All he wants is for her to relax and not stress about anything before her delivery.
