The sexy siren turns 38 today
Shilpa’s first big film as a leading lady that did very well at the box office was Main Khiladi Tu Anari opposite Akshay Kumar. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan and Raageshwari, yet Shilpa managed to steal everyone’s thunder with the playful song,Chura ke dil mera. Soon the beautiful babe was sought after for mainstream masala entertainers where she had to mostly dance and look pretty. Her performances in Dhadkan (2000) and Rishtey (2002) were appreciated, while her portrayal of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge (2004) won her many accolades.
We hear that Shilpa will not celebrate her birthday today. After Raj Kundra confessed to betting in the IPL, followed by the confiscation of his passport, wifey Shilpa has decided to give her starry birthday celebrations a miss. Instead, the actor has decided to perform a Maha Puja as she is worried about hubby Raj and son Viaan.
