Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6: Sidharth Shukla’s choreographer Sonia Jaffer injured

Sonia injured herself while rehearsing for the ‘Jhalak on wheels’ special episode

 

The new season of the celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 has just kicked-off and there is already a lot happening on the sets. First, trained dancer and television actor Eijaz Khan was replaced by ex Indian skipper Krishnamachari Srikkanth after the former slipped and dislocated his left shoulder while practicing for the first episode. And now TV star Sidharth Shukla’s choreographer Sonia Jaffer has an injured foot to deal with.
For a special episode called ‘Jhalak on wheels’, while Sonia was demonstrating a step to Sidharth using a wheelchair, she accidentally hurt her foot and ended up a getting few stitches.

But as they say no pain, no gain. Despite the injury, Sonia was in high spirits and went on to choreograph the entire act. In fact, her zeal prompted Sidharth to work doubly hard and perfect the pacey track, Party on my mind from Race 2.
We are quite impressed with the young choreographer’s determination!
