Bhaag Milkha Bhaag song Mera yaar: Farhan Akhtar writes a love letter to Sonam Kapoor!

After releasing the inspiring and high-energy track Zinda, the makers of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag present a romantic song, Mera yaar featuring the lead couple – Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor. The song, shot in the narrow lanes of a village, has an earthy feel to it, as we see a cute looking Farhan (in a pagdi) riding a cycle wooing his ladylove Sonam and eventually crashing into her in typical filmi style!
From stalking her in a borewell queue to chasing her till her home, Farhan follows Sonam everywhere. He finally reveals his ‘I love you’ feelings through a letter inserted in a rubber ball and throws it at her place. And guess what, she reverts with ‘main bhi’!
With Mera yaar, the composer trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has attempted something new and set a higher standard for themselves. The track starts off with vibrant beats and then moves into the Sufi zone. Sung by Javed Bashir, the words have been penned by ace lyricist Prasoon Joshi.
