Angelina was unfortunately not with her aunt when she passed but her uncle Ron told People, “Angelina has been sending her wishes. She and my wife texted each other. It was difficult for my wife, during the last few months, to communicate.”
Angelina's mother and Debbie's sister, Marcheline Bertrand passed away in 2007 from ovarian cancer. So yeah, Angie was wise to undergo a double mastectomy and plan for another surgery to have her ovaries removed.
Angie’s uncle Ron continues, “Because of the BRCA gene in the maternal side of the family, Angelina did the smartest thing on earth. It takes a lot of courage to have your breasts removed.
