Angelina Jolie Races To Have Another Baby

In the most popular celebrity written New York Times article of the year and the only time your mom has ever read an “Op-Ed,” Angelina Jolie revealed that she had a double mastectomy.
After learning she had a “faulty” BRCA1 gene which dangerously increased her risk for breast and ovarian cancer, she made a decision to be proactive about her condition and opted for the pre-emptive surgical procedure.
Since, she’s also revealed that she’ll undergo an oophorectomy (ovary removal surgery) to combat her 50% chance of developing ovarian cancer. Most doctors suggest women with such a high risk have their ovaries removed by the time they’re 40.

Angelina still has a couple years to go (she turns 38 on June 4) and in the interim would reportedly like to have another child before then.
“She’s seeking top medical advice to see if it’s doable before the final surgery,” John told In Touch, a photographer who is supposedly a “close friend” to Angelina.
It does align with her and her partner Brad Pitt’s wishes to have a large family. When asked how many kids he and Angelina want exactly, Brad once famously answered, “Nine. We’re looking for a soccer team.”
Even if another baby doesn’t happen, it doesn’t completely hinder their plans to have more kids. “There’s surrogacy and, of course, adoption,” John adds.
