After Jason was photographed kissing AI alum Brittany Kerr last September, the country singer and his wife of 11 years have separated.

Jason Aldean, 36, and his wife, Jessica Ussery, have called it quits. Last September, pictures circulated the internet of the country crooner kissing American Idol Season 11 alum, Brittany Kerr. Jason and his wife struggled in the aftermath of the affair and have decided to separate, Us Weekly confirms.

“There were obvious problems before the bar kiss, but he finally left earlier this year,” a source tells Us Weekly, noting that Jessica did not attend the ACM Awards with Jason in April.
A rep for Jason told Us, ”I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share at this time. It’s a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way.”
The high school sweethearts were married in 2001, and have two daughters together, Keeley and Kendyl.

On September 26, 2012, Jason was spotted making out with Brittany at The Den on The Sunset Strip. After pictures of the pair together surfaced on the internet, Jason released a statement to TMZ:

“The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I left alone and that’s the end of the story.”

Sources close to Brittany told TMZ that the AI alum had no idea Jason was married, and never would have let anything happen if she had known.
