Mahi Gill defines her role as deadly in Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns

Mahi Gill, best known for her bold debut in Dev D, reached Chandigarh to promote her upcoming film Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, a sequel of Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster. The 37-year-old actress, who got late to join her co-stars Jimmy Shergill and Rahul Mittra (producer), talks about the film, “This time around, the biwi is much more ambitious and aggressive. She can do anything to grab Saheb’s attention. The game gets deadlier!” The actress confirms about the intensity of intimate scenes that the tone of the sex scenes have been toned down as it was not required in the script.
Mahi confirmed to having alcohol to get into the skin of the character but denied the rumours of being alcoholic, “There were rumours that I had taken to alcoholism because of the role. Media also ‘reported’ that I was undergoing rehabilitation. In fact, one story said I was found drunk, and my driver and liftman had to pick me up and drop me home. The story also had a quote from my father who passed away 15 years ago! I guess the media needs to do that because I’m a very boring person otherwise.”

The actress, who has worked in many Punjabi films, says that she won’t be taking any project until she gets a woman-oriented script. Next project she has in hand is the remake of 1973 Zanjeer.
The actress confirms to be in a committed relationship and is not planning for the wedding now.
