Balika Vadhu’s Anandi walks out for Vikram Bhatt’s next

Colors popular serial, Balika Vadhu, has to look for a new face for Anandi’s character as Pratyusha Banerjee quit the serial. Pratyusha has signed Vikram Bhatt’s next film and is unable to manage the hectic shooting schedules. Channel’s spokesperson made a statement, “The show is progressing towards the highpoint focusing on Shiv-Anandi's married life. Given the hectic shooting schedules the show demands at this stage, Pratyusha has been unable to commit the required time. Therefore, we have mutually agreed to part ways. We understand Pratyusha's perspective and wish her all the best for her future endeavors".

The show is high on TRP after Anandi and Shivraj’s marriage but the channel has no malice for the actress. The spokesperson quoted, "The show is progressing towards the highpoint focusing on Shiv-Anandi's married life. Given the hectic shooting schedules the show demands at this stage, Pratyusha has been unable to commit the required time. Therefore, we have mutually agreed to part ways. We understand Pratyusha's perspective and wish her all the best for her future endeavours". The actress has no plans for now and will look forward after a break.
