“Girls” creator and star Lena Dunham won
big last year when her hot HBO series took home the Emmy for
Outstanding Comedy Series, and we’ll find out if she can score a repeat
again tonight.
This year she's also nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.
Lena arrived at the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in a silk turquoise gown by Prada.
A couple of days ago, Lena previewed this haute couture gown, describing it in a way that only Lena Dunham can.
The dress was pretty eccentric with more detailing than her simpler selections on previous carpets. It featured a rose print in coral, scattered throughout with contrasting black trim and a plunging V-neckline bodice.
Her accessories also came from the Prada house: satin sandals and a clutch.

"It's like the Delia's catalogue made a red carpet dress!" - my sister giving me the truest compliment when I showed her my Emmy look #joy
