Selena Gomez may be 20 years old, but she’s 15 on the inside.
If you didn’t already get that part from her relationship with Justin Bieber, the “Come and Get It” singer has gone on record with "ET" Canada, where she said, “I feel like sometimes I am 15 in my heart. You know, sometimes I just go in waves of being a child and being an adult.”
“It’s awkward,” she added. “I am growing up. I am just trying to figure out who I am.”
Cue “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman” by Britney Spears for the rest of Selena’s statement.
She also just went on a dinner date/hang out sesh with her friend/new love interest (?), Jaden Smith, who is 14-years-old. She's almost 21. YOU DO THE MATH.
Whatever
her fluctuating emotional age may or may not be at any given time,
she’s approaching a milestone next month on July 22: being 21.
“I’m going to enjoy being 21, absolutely, of course,” she said. “I am going to have a party. … My family from Texas, my friends [and] my cousins are flying in. I will have some of my best friends in L.A.”
We know those best friends presumably include the likes of Taylor Swift, but what about Justin? Is he invited? Guess we’ll have to wait to see what age she’s feeling like on her birthday—21 (no Justin); 15 (Justin).
