False alarm: It was just an onset photo from the film he’s currently shooting, Townies.
May 2, 2013: the day we actually did crush your dreams, revealing he’s been hooking up with a mystery girl.
“Zac and Maika have been spending a lot of time together at his house [in Los Angeles] and are definitely hooking up,” according to a source for In Touch magazine. “Zac is really into her.”
The two first met on the set of their indie drama At Any Price; he a blossoming film star, she a relatively unknown newcomer.
The movie, which just premiered in Venice last September, is Maika’s biggest to date, so there isn’t much known about her at the moment.
What we did manage to gather with the skills we acquired at the Pentagon (typing stuff in Google) we uncovered the following fun, must-know Maika Monroe facts:
– She’s a professional kiteboarder
– Her next films are Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring and Jason Reitman’s Labor Day
– She was in a made-for-TV sci-fi film called Flying Monkeys, which sounds hilarious
– She has beach blond hair
– She is 19
Nothing’s been made official by these two, but it didn’t sound like she’d have any complaints dating him.
“I think he’d be a great boyfriend,” Maika answered when asked by In Touch. “He’s a very down-to-earth guy—so sweet and so attractive. He blows me away!”
