For Your Consideration, Reese Witherspoon in her latest film, captured on the dash-cam video of the cop car while she was being arrested on-location in Atlanta.
It’s a comedy and it’s her best role in years.
In the leaked footage, you can witness Reese getting handcuffed while saying various lines of award-winning dialogue such as “I’m an American citizen…I’m allowed to stand on American ground,” and “This is beyond! This is beyond!”
The comedic timing and ironic delivery of “You’re saying I’m obstructing your justice?” while obstructing the officer’s justice is a favorite.
Her husband Jim Toth, who was being questioned, and subsequently (spoiler alert!) arrested, for a DUI that night, doesn’t offer much support, when he concludes the scene by telling the officer, “I’m sorry. I had nothing to do with that.”
Reese went rogue and she was all on her own, basically.
