Lindsay Lohan still doesn’t get how rehab works. “The Celebrity Is Always Right” may work in Hollywood, but outside that glossy realm, there’s the real world.
We, along with the Betty Ford Center, would like to be one of the many, many, many people to welcome her to it.
TMZ reports that doctors have taken away Lindsay’s prescription for Adderall and now she’s ready to ditch the center all together over it.
However, this seems unlikely considering Betty Ford itself was a last-second change for the actress. It’s doubtful that the prosecution and a judge will be as accommodating for a second time.
Lindsay has undergone rehab so often, it’s no surprise she treats these rehabilitation centers as if they were drive-thrus where she simply orders whatever she wants off the menu.
Betty Ford professionals, however, don’t tend to dole out the Adderall to anyone over the age of 15, since it's often abused as a weight-loss drug.
Lindsay insists that's not the case, telling Piers Morgan before checking in to serve her 90-day rehab sentence that it's strictly to treat her ADD.
I can't stand still. So I take Adderall for that, it calms me," Lindsay said. "I know people who take it to stay up, or girls who take it to supposedly stay slim because it kills your appetite. But I eat all the time. I just take it to stay calm. It works well for me.”
