That the reality TV singing competition is in a major slump right now is noticeable to everyone, including those who’ve never watched a second of “AI.” At 2 out of 3 Mother’s Day buffets this weekend, no moms are going to be asking which of the Top 3 you think will win this year, so you know it’s got to be extra bad this season.
“There’s more drama going on behind the scenes of the show than on the stage, and that’s why there’s a major overhaul in the works,” a source told Radar.
“The judges don’t have real chemistry, and there’s no real standout contestant,” the source added. “That’s why they want to go big next season and you can’t get any bigger than Justin Bieber. The executives are calling it their dream team because who wouldn’t tune in to see Justin and Selena…?”
Landing the two would cost a fortune for the show, but these are desperate times as the veteran reality show enters its 15th incarnation, so they're definitely on the shortlist of possible judges, alongside Pink and Didd
