Is Saoirse Ronan Starring in 'Fifty Shades of Grey?'

 

Earlier today it was announced that the hotly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation had found its director, but we aren’t behindthescenesmoviescoop.com so all we want to know is which hotties are playing Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele!
But, the guy they hired to direct the film, Joe Wright, might actually be the key to finding out who is starring in this whips-and-chains adaptation of the steamy novel and it seems like it might be Saoirse Ronan. Here's our logic.
Joe Wright directed Anna Karenina, Hanna, Pride and Prejudice and Atonement.
If you haven’t noticed, Keira Knightley and Saoirse Ronan appear in several of his films, so clearly he likes using the same actresses in multiple projects. That got us thinking.

Here’s a Skype chat at the CT9 offices that basically solved the riddle of who is going to play Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey:

Jamie: Fifty Shades of Grey Director is Joe Wright.
Jamie: I only care about who the actors are, though. Not directors, producers etc.
Matt: Joe Wright uses a lot of the same actors.
Madison: OMG he did Pride and Prejudice and Anna Karenina. Ulch, he’s probably gonna hire Keira Knightley to play Anastasia.
Matt: What if he uses Saoirse Ronan? She was in Atonement and Hanna?
Madison: He might, actually she’d be great as Anastasia!
Madison: Why didn’t we think of her before?
Matt: I think she’s just famous/not famous enough for people to “believe” she could be Anastasia.
Matt: That’s sometimes how directors get hired…their connections to talent.
Madison: OMG IT’S TOTALLY HER!
Matt: WHERE’S THE HANDCUFFS?!
Matt: The EVIDENCE speaks for itself.

And that is how Hollywood cast Fifty Shades of Grey…from a Skype chat at CT9.
