Is Kim Kardashian Desperate to Land a 'Vogue' Cover?

Tonight, Kim Kardashian will make her society debut as Kanye West’s “plus 1” at the 2013 Met Gala.
Kim is taking baby steps towards being accepted by the fashion community (No, the Kardashian Kollection for Sears is not nationally recognized as “fashion”) but now she’s resorted to wining and dining Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in a desperate bid to land a Vogue cover.

A source told CT9 that Kim, Kanye, and Anna Wintour ate dinner at Anna's home and while the details of the dinner were not centered around Kim's aspirations of being a Vogue cover model, the reality star has been incredibly vocal in the past about wanting to cover the mag.

Just to put things in perspective, last year Kim was personally BANNED by Ms. Wintour from attending the Met Gala, now Kim is not only invited to the event, but is also invited to personal dinners at Anna’s house!
We can’t even imagine what they talked about. We just imagine that all Anna does is judge with her eyes and say things like “houndstooth” and “Marc Jacobs is an icon,” while Kanye is all like, “Jay-Z and I love Bugattis” and then Kim is all like, “Do you like Keek?”
