Britney Spears In The Studio Working On New Album

 

After what felt like years since we had a new Britney Spears album to love and cherish (2 years to be exact since she released “Femme Fatale”) Brit Brit is back in the studio doing what she does best…being a pop goddess.
Yesterday, Britney was seen entering a recording studio in LA and we nearly fainted. “OMG” we wondered, “Is this more music for the Smurfs soundtrack? Or is Britney back?”
Fortunately for us, it’s not more Smurf singles, “Britney is recording her 8^th album. Will.i.am is on board as a producer,” her rep tells CT9.

Will.i.am told Rolling Stone that after he and Brit did “Scream & Shout” together, they knew they wanted their working relationship to continue.
“I’m not producing and writing every song, but [will be] an executive producer on the songs,” will.i.am revealed.
Will.i.am says he wants to move away from dance tracks (boooo) and wants more personal and emotional songs (Yae! “Everytime” is our favorite song!)
“We can’t do another song about going on the dance floor. Really? Didn’t we see a bunch of Britney doing that already? Don’t we want to see something that comes from her heart?”
Can. Not. Wait!
