Reese Witherspoon was arrested. And she pulled the ‘Do you know who I am’ card.
Reese and her husband Jim Toth were both arrested on Friday night in Atlanta. Jim was pulled over and arrested for a DUI and Reese was booked for disorderly conduct, joining her hubby in the slammer.
Reese was reportedly upset because of how long the arrest was taking so she pulled her celebrity card out, telling the officer, "You're about to find out who I am.”
Here’s
how it went down…Reese and Jim’s Ford Fusion was pulled over because
Jim was weaving in and out of lanes. He claimed he had only had one
drink but blew a .139.
According
to TMZ, as officers dealt with Jim, Reese allegedly started acting up,
telling cops, "Do you know my name?" The officer answered by saying,
"No, I don't need to know your name."
She shot back, "You're about to find out who I am ... You are going to be on national news."
It
turns out it was Reese who was about to make national news. She was
arrested because she “became ornery, demonstrating visual and verbal
frustration.” She was given a warning after exiting their vehicle,
stating she was allowed to "stand on American ground." She was arrested
after exiting the vehicle a second time.
They were taken to jail, booked, and released a short time later. Womp womp.
