“Excuse me, cameriere,” Jen must’ve requested when she was seated just two tables away from her ex at the Sunset Tower restaurant in West Hollywood this week. “I found a strand of John Mayer-shaped hair in my food. Could you take this to the far back of the back of the kitchen, please? I’ll just stick with bread, thanks.”

Mayer ate with a male friend, says an eyewitness to People magazine. Instead of making an awkward situation hella more awkward, he didn’t approach Jen, though he definitely “saw her when he came in,” the source says.
"There was a bottle of wine on Jen's table,” the source said. “Looked like a cute dinner with friends. They are all having fun and Jen and Justin look very sweet together.”
