Singer Adele, who has won an Oscar for Skyfall, will get a statue at the wax museum of Madame Tussauds. Other musical sensations who have their status at the museum are Beyonce Knowles, Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse. According to the reports, there is a phenomenal increase in the demand of Adele after Skyfall and it’s the right time to honour the singer.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, the public relations manager of Madame Tussauds London’s, Nicole Fenner says, "Adele is the perfect addition to the music line up here in London. She's one of the world's hottest properties right now and one of our most requested personalities". Nicole added saying, "She is one of the most influential British female artists and we know she is going to be a huge hit with our guests alongside our other pop greats. We're very excited to welcome her to Madame Tussauds London".
The statue of the 24-year-old will be reproduced on her black gown at the 2012 Grammy Awards and will be revealed in June.
