Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto hosted a special pre-Oscar party yesterday, where she promoted the issue of girl child education. Vanity Fair magazine approached Freida to co-host the event and the actress was pleased to get aligned with them and bring more awareness to the 10X10 Girl Rising program.
The 28-year-old beauty has become the first Indian origin actress to host the pre-Oscar bash. She has always been devoted to the cause of girls teaching and was not willing to miss out on an opportunity like this, where she could promote the noble cause on a world forum.
