It’s been a long road to separation for Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher who’ve reportedly arrived at an agreement over how to divide their assets after a bitter two-year struggle in the courts.
“Ashton and Demi have finally signed their divorce agreement,” a source confirmed to the New York Post. “They are about to file paperwork with the court that will formally end their marriage.”
The holdup had been over how much Demi was entitled to in the divorce. They’d originally split in November 2011 following reports of infidelity on Ashton’s part; Demi wanted spousal support from her ex-husband who, since they had been married, became one of the highest-paid actors on television when he joined the cast of “Two and a Half Men.”
She also wanted a piece of his earnings from his investment firm Grade-A, reportedly valued at $100 million.
“There had been lengthy negotiations between lawyers for both sides about the financial settlement—in particular, how much he owed her from their marriage,” a source added. “They have finally come to an agreement that was acceptable to all sides.”
