The 37-year-old actress gave fans an inside look at her next film, Wild, which tells the story of author Cheryl Strayed who decided to travel on foot from the Mojave Desert to Washington State following her mother’s death and the end of her own marriage.
It’s based on the bestselling book, which was highlighted as a selection in Oprah’s Book Club.
On her WhoSay account, Reese captioned the still, “So excited to play @CherylStrayed in a movie!”
Cheryl also sounded off on the photo writing, “The first photo of Reese Witherspoon as me in 1995! Crazy beautiful amazing to see this.”
