Zayn Malik & Perrie Edwards Want To Be Married By Christmas

Zayn and Perrie didn’t waste any time getting engaged, and reportedly they aren’t going to delay actually tying the knot either! Read on.

Since getting engaged to Perrie Edwards in July, Zayn Malik has only bragged about how happy and in love he is, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he and his fiancee are planning on saying their vows MUCH sooner than expected.

Zayn Malik & Perrie Edwards Want A Holiday Wedding?

Though they have only been engaged for less than a month, Zayn and Perrie — both 20 years old — are looking to say “I do” before Christmas, according to The Sun.
The decision to quickly throw together a wedding (most people wait close to a year between getting engaged and married) is due to their passionate love for each other, but they also have a practical reason – One Direction’s looming 2014 tour dates. The couple is reportedly “dreading” being split apart when Zayn has to rejoin 1D for their stadium tour, and so they are pushing up their marriage plans accordingly. “Ideally, they want to be married by Christmas,” a source told The Sun.
“They’re going to be spending a long time apart, which they think will be eased if they tie the knot.”

Zayn Malik & Perrie Edwards’ Passionate Love

We’re not sure if we follow that logic, but Zayn and Perrie are clearly so in love that no one is going to stop them from doing what they want. “Never been more happy in my life !,” Zayn tweeted on Aug. 23. “Thank you to everyone that has been so lovely about my engagement to my beautiful fiancee.”
Though family and friends have been totally supportive of Zayn and Perrie, even they might be surprised to find out about the rapid wedding plans. Perrie’s own mom told Real Radio North East’s Gary & Lisa Show on Aug. 21 that she expected the engagement to be quite long: “I mean, obviously they’ve got so much to do. They’ll wait till 2014, 2015.”
