After completing rehab this year, Lindsay Lohan supposedly became involved with a longtime friend, the former NFL player and Bravo reality star Matt Nordgren.
However, it was a short-lived romance; the two have already called off their relationship.
Just
a week after confirming they were even an item at all, Lindsay realized
that a relationship probably isn’t what she should be focusing her
energies on, according to someone close to the actress.
And that’s all right with Matt, who also feels her health should be her number one priority.
“He respects her sobriety and wishes her the absolute best,” the source told Us Weekly. “They will remain good friends.”
That said, their professional lives are currently so busy, it probably wouldn’t have worked out in the long run and it was in both of their best interests that they not become further involved.
“Their work schedules and the distance just make dating impossible,” explained the source. “He really likes and respects her. He thinks she is back on top, emotionally and physically.”
