How Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Celebrated 1st Anniversary

Just like their surprise wedding last year, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively celebrated their first marriage anniversary together in a quiet, low-key fashion.
The couple dined on a Southern-inspired feast at famed eatery Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room in Savannah, Georgia, fitting with the Southern-inspired theme of their wedding ceremony and reception in Mt. Pleasant, South California on September 9, 2012.
“They were absolutely darling,” Marcia Thompson, owner of the all-you-can-eat restaurant told People. “I asked them what they were doing in Savannah, and she said it was their anniversary and they had never been able to get in the restaurant before. The line wasn’t too terribly long today.”
After waiting in line like the rest of us would, the couple was seated with a party of six others for the family-style meal.
“Nobody made a fuss over them,” Marcia continued. “I know the other people sitting at the table knew who they were, but they didn’t say anything to them about who they were and that was nice. I thanked [the other diners] for that.”
As for Ryan, if given the chance Marcia may have married him on the spot, admitting that, “When he stood up and put that smile on me, I nearly fainted. He is so good-looking.” As for Blake, she “was so sweet and so pretty.”
