Paris Jackson: Reliving Dad’s Death and the 911 Call

As if there wasn’t enough grief in Paris Jackson’s life at the moment, the 15-year-old could still be called to testify in the trial surrounding her father Michael Jackson’s death.
Given her recent hospitalization at UCLA Medical Center—coincidentally in the same hospital that Michael passed away in—following her attempted suicide last week, a question hangs over the proceedings regarding whether or not it’s appropriate for her to even take the stand.
The Jackson family's attorney has no comment on that matter, but an insider has told People magazine that it’s weighing heavily on Paris’ psyche.
The trial, now in its seventh week, has “brought up the loss all over again,” the source revealed. “She’s paying attention to every word of it. She’s feeling that pain all over again.”
As for AEG Live’s defense lawyer Marvin Putnam, he says they never had any intention to ask Paris to testify. “It was the plaintiff who announced that she was on their witness list,” he clarified, “and even confirmed they might call her after the tragic incidents.”
However, if the Jackson’s legal team does call Paris to the stand, AEG can’t say whether they’ll call her in response.
Also online is the 911 call placed on June 5, in which the caller says that Paris "OD'd on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife,” but that she was also “awake and breathing.”
