Okay, we’re not being 100% honest. Emmy Rossum wants Mr. Cruise…to guest star on an episode of her TV series, “Shameless.”
“Tom Cruise on the south side of Chicago would be kind of fun,” Emmy tells Hollyscoop at the Critics' Choice Awards.
“Shameless”
is about a dysfunctional family living in Canaryville, Chicago, a
historically “unfriendly” neighborhood on the south side of the windy
city.
While we LOVE Tom’s occasional comedic roles (Tropic Thunder anyone?) we doubt he’d do a TV spot, even though “Shameless” could hardly be considered television, it’s that good.
The only time Tom Cruise does TV is whenever Top Gun is playing on STARZ.
Sorry, Emmy, you’re going to have to hold onto that dream for a while.
