The two are keeping fans on the edge of their laptops, foaming at the mouth as they refresh all the gossip blogs. They just want answers and Miley and Liam leave everyone guessing with another weekend spent apart.
We're no body language experts, but not being anywhere near each other to have any discernible body language to speak of says something in and of itself.
Miley spent the past few days in Florida getting higher than the Miami sun. She ditched her engagement ring and went on a Twitpic frenzy, the types of which have allegedly caused rifts between her and Liam last year.
As for Liam, he was spotted in LA on his way to the gym recently. The telltale sign was his facial hair which was scruffier than it's ever been. Anyone who's ever helped a friend through a breakup will recognize this visage of untamed hygiene as someone in-between grieving and just not caring anymore. "Give me 'The Over It,'" he despaired to his barber, who then proceeded to put his scissors and comb away, remove his smock, and send Liam on his way without snipping a single hair from his mane. It was the fastest haircut ever.
At this point, watching the dissolution of MiLiam's relaish is like watching someone pull off a Mickey Mouse-printed Band-Aid in slow motion. This is more painful than it needs to be. On the upside, you'll never have to see us write the uncreative MiLiam nickname ever again, which is also equally painful, once their breakup's made official.
